The rules for using Poliview — written in plain English
Poliview Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 17178278). References to "Poliview", "we", "us" and "our" throughout these terms refer to Poliview Limited.

Poliview is a cloud-based policy management platform for schools. It allows schools to store, manage, review, approve and publish their policies in one central location.
The service is provided as software-as-a-service (SaaS) and is accessed via a web browser. No software installation is required.
We reserve the right to update, improve or change features of the service at any time. We will communicate significant changes in advance where possible.
To use Poliview, you must create an account on behalf of your school or organisation. By creating an account, you confirm that:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at hello@poliview.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Each subscription covers one school. If your organisation operates multiple schools, a separate subscription is required for each.
We offer a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the platform before purchasing. During the trial:
At the end of the trial, your account will become inactive unless you purchase a subscription. We will remind you before your trial ends.
Poliview is priced at £599 per school per year. This price includes unlimited users, unlimited policies and all features. The price is subject to change, but existing subscribers will be notified at least 60 days before any price increase takes effect at their renewal.
We invoice schools annually by bank transfer (BACS). We do not accept credit cards and do not operate automatic recurring billing. Your account will be renewed on an annual basis, and we will send an invoice in advance of your renewal date.
Your full account activates as soon as payment is confirmed. There are no delays.
If you are not satisfied with Poliview, contact us within 30 days of your subscription start date and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. After 30 days, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
You agree to use Poliview only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
You retain full ownership of all data — including policy documents — that you upload to Poliview. We process your data only to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
We act as a data processor in relation to any personal data you upload to the platform. You, as the school, are the data controller. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Poliview complies with applicable data protection law, including UK GDPR.
If you cancel your subscription, you have 90 days to export your data. After that period, we may delete your account and associated data. We will send a reminder before deletion.
We aim to keep Poliview available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We do not currently offer a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA), but we take reliability seriously and will always communicate incidents promptly.
The Poliview platform, including its design, code, branding and content, is owned by Poliview Limited and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
Your policy documents and content remain your intellectual property. By uploading them to Poliview, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poliview Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including (but not limited to) loss of data, loss of revenue or reputational damage.
Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Poliview Limited harmless from any claims, losses or damages (including legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms or your use of the service in a way that infringes the rights of a third party.
Poliview uses a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the service (hosting, email, analytics). We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of those third parties, though we take care to select reputable providers.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing hello@poliview.app. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, or with 30 days' notice if we decide to discontinue the service. In the event of discontinuation, we will refund any unused portion of your subscription on a pro-rata basis.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of the service after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
